The Brief
At JWT Kitchens & Bathrooms, we believe that even a small bathroom should radiate luxury and practicality. Our recent project in Saltcoats aimed to transform a compact space into a bright, functional, and stylish bathroom using premium materials such as the Calcutta Bronze Solid Core Wall Boards and brushed brass fixtures. The goal was to create a space that was both visually appealing and easy to maintain.
The Challenge
Transforming a small bathroom into a luxurious space requires innovative design and meticulous planning. The primary challenge was to maximize the limited space while incorporating high-end features that enhance usability and style. Every element, from the floating vanity to the rainfall shower, was chosen to enhance the sense of space without compromising on functionality or aesthetics.
Our Approach
Our approach focused on maximizing space and creating a seamless design. By using wall-hung furniture and concealed pipework, we ensured that every inch of the bathroom was utilized efficiently. The installation of Calcutta Bronze Solid Core Tile Boards offered a luxurious marble appearance without the maintenance issues of traditional tiles. These boards are 100% waterproof, durable, and provide a seamless modern look.
The Floating Ella Vanity Unit was installed to increase floor space, while the floating toilet with a concealed cistern maintained clean lines and added to the minimalist design. Brushed brass finishes were used throughout, including the rainfall shower and LED niche, creating a cohesive and sophisticated look.
Results
The result is a bathroom that exudes luxury and functionality. The coordinated brass finishes and modern furnishings provide a seamless appearance, making the small space feel open and inviting. The waterproof sandstone flooring complements the wall boards, adding warmth and texture to the room.
One of the standout features is the brushed brass LED niche, which not only offers practical storage but also enhances the ambiance with its integrated lighting. The Bluetooth heated LED mirror adds a modern touch, allowing for a clear reflection and music streaming capability.
